Eco Tours

All Fraser Explorer Tours hold Advanced Ecotourism Certifications from Ecotourism Australia.

Fraser Island is a vast 184,000 hectare island.  Our tours contain a small amount of walking to some of the top attractions - such as Lake Wabby and Indian Head.  A low to moderate fitness level is  required - though guests who do not wish to walk have the option to stay with the tour guide.

Nov 2011 - WOW!  The Fraser Explorer Touring team was named as a finalist in the 'Best Tour Operator' category at the recent Queensland Tourism Awards.  Well done to the team and congratulations to all the winners.

Oct 2011 - Congratulations to our wonderful team - After three consecutive 'Best Tour Operator' wins, Fraser Explorer Tours has just been inducted into Fraser Coast Tourism's Hall of Fame.  We were also highly commended in this year's 'Environmental Tourism' category.
